XVIII ICIEOM

The International Conference on Industrial Engineering and Operations Management (ICIEOM) is the main International event originated in Brazil in its knowledge area, and it is organized by the Brazilian Association of Production Engineering (ABEPRO) since 1995.

We are proud to announce that the XVIII International Conference on Industrial Engineering and Operations Management (ICIEOM 2012) will be held, for the first time, outside Brazil. ICIEOM 2012 is co-organized by ABEPRO and by the Department of Production and Systems (DPS) of the School of Engineering, University of Minho (UMinho), and will take place in Guimarães, Portugal, between 9 and 11 of July 2012.

Papers, lectures and collaborations will be presented in English.

BEST STUDENT AWARD - NEWS!

Because of the large number of submissions and requests received from the authors,  the Scientific Committee ICIEOM 2012 expanded the categories for submissions for the Best Student Award 2012.

1. Work from students will be awarded in three categories:

·      Undergratuade students
·      Master students
·      PhD students

2. Submission and presentations

·      Supervisors could be registered as co-authors (not first author);
·      The papers will be presented in special sessions held by the Best Student Award committee;
·      Papers must be presented by students: presentations performed by not students will not be accepted as for the Best Student Award;
·      Winners will be announced on July 11th during the formal closure of ICIEOM 2012.
